Sending to Nepal

We really love to receive things from our friends back home, and we really appreciate the effort that some people go to in making us feel loved!
Over the years we have learnt a few things about the postal systems of our different countries:

What's on the outside

Parcels need to be wrapped in such a way that they look like very dull business post - if it looks too inviting then someone will open it.

Parcels need to be be wrapped so that they can withstand, damp and rats - i.e. put everything inside a plastic bag or two before you wrap it up and then seal it with lots of tape.

On the customs sticker [if you have one] do not write that the contents are worth 100 dollars - this makes it too inviting, and we sometimes have to pay tax on the amount as well. Best is to say that the value is "nil" - from an insurance point of view it is!

What's on the inside

Please consider that post can take 2-5 weeks to reach us, so the contents should not spoil during that time.

Whilst we love to receive surprises we also have people ask us "what do we want". If you wish to see our wish list, please click here - but please don't feel obliged at all!

Thank you for sending things - we really appreciate it!
