Why we are in Nepal
Why have we given up good jobs in nice comfortable countries, left our families behind and come to live in a beautiful but difficult land, learning another new language and struggling daily with the issues of poverty and sickness?

It certainly isn't because we are any more holy than anyone else.

It isn't because we are more talented than anyone else.

It isn't because we want to be hero's in anyone's eyes.

And amazingly it isn't because we are stupid - we knew what we were getting into.

It is because we love God first, we love the people of Asia, we feel that this is where He wants us to work and to witness, and yes we do love curries too!

What keeps us in Nepal?

In short the answer is "Angels".

Sometimes these angels come in the form of Charlie's Angles - good friends that we can be really silly with [a sense of humour is hard to keep here, but it really is a life saver!].

The other kind of angels we depend on are the many friends we have at home that Email, write, send parcels, phone us and sometimes even visit us.

Of course there is also another help these angles can give - prayer. Without God's intervention we could not do anything of much use and we would fail.

We are also very thankful to the churches and friends that sponsor us regularly.

Many thanks to all our Angels!
